Andrax the Duke of this city paced his sandled-shoes around the streets gazing at people and glancing at houses. There population was rather large and there land was vast. Enough for the people. But was it enough for the Duke...
With Andrax was his wife. She was trailing just behind him as all had too. She kept her head low as Andrax didn't believe in fidelity and vanity and did not want his own wife parading her beauty to the men of Romin.

Yuliya moved lightly and quickly. Her freedom of movement was greater, seeing as she was in her disguise. It wasn't a disguise to hide who she was, nobody knew who she was, it was a disguise so that no one would guess who she was. Not many women went through town dressed as soldiers, so the long white dress, white cloak, and silver slippers were enough to let her melt into the crowd, as much as she could, anyway.
Seeing the Duke, she froze steadily. This was the hardest part for her, hiding her...her real self. Her real self wanted to sock this person in the nose. She cringed as she tilted her head slightly and said,
"Good day, sir."

[ooc: d/w he's suspisious of everyone... I'll put everything my wife says like this] "Good day, sir."
Andrax stopped in his tracks at the sound of a voice. Spining around quickly a dagger from his back leather dagger holder appeared in his hand and he held it to the voices neck. "Who are you? I don't reconize you..." he stopped as he felt the hand on his wife on his shoulder. He had been on edge lately due to an escapee from the prisions of Romin.
His wife took charge over him, which was a rarity in itself but for her to speak and step ahead of him was strange. "Forgive him..."

"I...I am Yuliya," Yuiya manged, trying to keep her voice steady. She reached up with a long-fingered hand to brush the dagger away. Her grey-green eyes flashed violet for a second, something, to those her knew her, that would send them running in the other direction. Violet eyes meant she was violently angry. It pulsated through her entire being. How she wished she could draw out a sword and let this Duke feel it's cold string.

Brushing off his wife he pushed her to the side gently. Putting his dagger away he gripped the soldier at the coller. "From where you birth?!" questioning the mystery soldier he relaxed his grip but still held on.
"Andrax! his wife pleaded. "Quiet! Answer the questiosn..."

Yuliya raised her hand and gave his arm one good swipe.
"I am from somewhere you most likely would not know about," she hissed as violet overcame her eyes. How she wished her sword or even her bow was with her. Not only that, she had left Black Jewel tethered at the edge of the town. Her pale face was like ivory amidst her golden, wavy hair that escaped her head like a waterfall. But nothing was more fierce than the violet-green-grey within that held such ferosity.

alivon walked through the streets carefree. He had no official job, so he had no worries about showing up anywhere at any particular time. In fact, one of the only ways he got his pay was by taking down highwaymen and taking what they had on them.
He'd look pretty odd, being dressed completely in black clothes, with the hood up on his black cloak. Not that he was doing anything out of the ordinary, just walking through the streets.
However, he couldn't help but notice how the man in front of him was treating...whoever it was he was questioning. If he'd had something important to do, he wouldn't have bothered, but at the moment, he was stocked up on everything he needed.
He attempted to walk up behind the man and tap him on the shoulder. "Excuse me, perhaps you might try relaxing a bit, I've heard it helps with certain issues. Er....not that I'm saying you have any, but it might appear that way to someone walking down the streets...who might happen to notice you." after saying this, he waited for a reply which he figured, would also be hostile.

Before Alvion's hand reached the shoulder of the Duke two of his guards stood in the way and gestured with their hands for him to stay away. "Stay away..." one hissed. "From the Duke!" the other roared.
Leaving the situation with Alvion, Andrax continued to antaganize this Yuliya... "Try me..." he persisted. "And what business do you have here?"

"My business is my own!" Yuliya screamed, delivering a swift kick. She wasn't as good with plain fighting, and was more skilled with weapons, but that didn't mean it wasn't hard and painful. "And if you dare try to lay a hand on me or anyone else you shall pay dearly for it." Her hands moved swiftly to raise her silver-edged cooh over her head and wrap the white cloak's folds around her. It was thin, so it didn't provide any warmth, but it did give a barrier. Clanging slightly was a sliver of some sort of crystal, carved into the figure of a rearing horse, draped around her neck. It was the only piece of jewelry she owned, and she didn't even know where it had come from. All she knew was that she had it.

"My business is my own!"
As she swung her leg around into his chest he grabbed her leg. On seeing guards came to the Dukes aid. His wife stood silent. "No!" she shouted. "She is mine!" throwing the leg away from him he drew his sword from his side. The steel blade shone in the sunlight. He brought a dagger to his left sleeve, ready if needed.

Alivon stopped being a observer once the duke brought his weapons out. He reached into his belt and pulled out one of his "flash bombs." The object was about the size of half his hand, and appeared to be a white-ish silver, and was shiny. He would strike the fuse against the short sword in his cloak which would cause a spark to ignite the string. He would then throw the object straight at the back of the duke's head, while pulling his hood down over his face to shield his eyes. He was hoping that by the time the object had reached the dukes head, that it would be alight since he knew that this material could also help set things on fire when it was alight.
He drew his short sword in case anyone tried to come after him following the blinding light caused by the object
